Industrial Design synthesizes knowledge, methods, techniques and creativity and aims to envisage objects of industrial production, according to their functions and structural, formal and aesthetic-symbolic characteristics, as well as all the values and aspects related to their production, marketing and use, with people as users.
It is a creative activity which establishes the multi-faceted qualities of objects, processes, services and their systems in whole life cycles. Therefore, design is the central factor of innovative humanization of technologies and the crucial factor of economic and cultural exchange.
